Voices for Women, Sudbury Sexual Assault Centre exist to empower and support women affected by sexual violence through their Journey of Healing. Voices for Women provides community-based, ongoing, longer-term sexual assault counselling and support services for women over the age of 16 years, who have experienced historical sexual assault trauma.
Victim/Witness Assistance Program
The Victim/Witness Assistance Program helps the most vulnerable victims and witnesses of violent crimes. Our role is to provide support, information and services throughout the criminal process.
YWCA Sudbury empowers women and their families to reach their full potential in body, mind, and spirit through action, advocacy, community collaboration and education. Our programs and services promote equality, economic security, and lives free from violence. YWCA Genevra House is an emergency shelter for women fleeing abuse by their intimate partner or live-in caregiver. Other services include a 24 hour crisis line, Family Court support, and Transition & Housing Support.
