Voices for Women, Sudbury Sexual Assault Centre exist to empower and support women affected by sexual violence through their Journey of Healing. Voices for Women provides community-based, ongoing, longer-term sexual assault counselling and support services for women over the age of 16 years, who have experienced historical sexual assault trauma.

Sexual Health Clinic

Our clinic promotes healthy sexuality and provides confidential services that reduce STIs (sexually transmitted infections).  Our services include sexual health information, testing and free treatment of STIs, anonymous HIV testing, pregnancy testing and options counselling, hepatitis A and B immunizations, condoms, harm reductions and presentations by request, and more.

The Children’s Aid Society of the Districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin

Child welfare services are regulated under the Ontario Child and Family Services Act as “children’s aid societies”. In Sudbury and Manitoulin, the CAS is responsible for investigating where children are in need of protection from abuse or neglect, and for the adoption of crown wards. The Society provides services on a 24/7, 365 days/year.

Sudbury Women’s Centre

The Sudbury Women’s Centre (SWC) provides information, referral, and support services to women impacted by violence and/or difficult life circumstances. The SWC offers public education and outreach programs, advocacy services, legal clinics, women and children’s clothing boutique, resource library and internet access, and violence prevention and economic independence workshops.
